Premier’s technology depends on WiFi and cellular networks to monitor our customers’ homes and businesses. Our systems include a cellular transmitter that is used to communicate with our central service station in the event of an emergency.
If your system is three years old or older?
Your system will more than likely be affected by the “3G Sunset.” Your system will no longer be able to communicate with your central station monitoring facility. Your alarm will go off locally, but the station will not know to call the police or send help if there is an emergency.
We are here to help to preserve your continuity of coverage. Feel free to contact us to schedule your system upgrade at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, we will be contacting you in the coming weeks/months to schedule your appointment. In the meantime, should you receive a “COMM FAILURE” notification on your alarm panel, please call us immediately so that we can address the issue right away.
